Art Spaces

Art SPACES documents my excursions through my second favourite world. I am constantly exploring the art and design spaces of different places I settle in. I love to study and write (and pontificate) about art, yet I haven’t picked up a paint brush in nearly 20 years. This series features, everything from little pop-up galleries to world renowned museums. From fashion to product design; I am always keen on experiencing creativity. All photos were taken with my iPhone at some point in the last few years.

Visiting the MoMA is routine whenever I’m in that neck of the woods

I am passionate about fashion. Not just for its influence on architecture but as its own creative expression. It is a major influence on my creative process.

Andile Dyalvane mysteriously crafts ceramics that look and feel nothing like ceramics

I find obscure influences in different forms of art and design. Stilettos inspire staircases and cinematic sequences inspire spatial orders… it makes sense to me

Fantastic student exhibition at the Royal College of Art. Spent most of my time on the fashion floor.
Morning walks in Lambeth. My excitement is twofold; discovering street art and then trying to frame them in their contexts.
